What is RPL and how can it help me?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) lets experienced laboratory staff get formally qualified for the skills they already have — often faster and with less coursework. If you have been working in a lab for a while, RPL can be the quickest route to a nationally recognised qualification. Talk to our team about an RPL assessment.
Are these qualifications nationally recognised?
Yes. MSL30122, MSL40122 and MSL50122 are nationally recognised qualifications delivered by Melbourne Tech Institute, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #45799). Your qualification is recognised by employers across Australia.

Do I need any prior qualifications to start?
There are no formal entry requirements. We do ask that you are 18 or over and connected to a workplace laboratory, so the training can be based around real work. Contact us and we will confirm the right starting point for you.
