Enrol in your Food Safety Supervisor certificate

You can renew if your certificate is still current, or expired less than 90 days ago — the NSW Food Authority allows a 90-day window. Only if it expired more than 90 days ago will you need the full NSW Food Safety Supervisor course instead.

The Food Safety Supervisor certificate requires both units — we formally recognise the one you already hold, so you only need to complete SITXFSA006 here.

This unit can only be assessed in a real food-business workplace — you’ll be observed taking part in your food safety team on at least two occasions. If you don’t currently work in a food business, you won’t be able to complete it. Read the full details before you enrol →

You’ve selected NSW. Without the NSW Food Authority certificate above, this course alone will not meet the NSW Food Act requirement for a Food Safety Supervisor. Only skip it if you’re training for a role outside NSW.
